Scottsdale Travel Guide
Welcome to Scottsdale!
Scottsdale is located in central Arizona, near Phoenix in the heart of the Grand Canyon state. Boasting an average of more than 330 days of sunshine per year, Scottsdale is an ideal destination for a winter vacation getaway. The culture and history in Scottsdale create a number of attractions, such as the famous Heard Museum, which showcases Native American items and artifacts. There are tours available here, as well as hands-on activities for children. The Heard Museum is just one of 125 galleries and museums in the area, each one offering a different collection of art and local culture. Biking, hiking and boating are all good ways in which to get out and experience the rich diversity of the Sonoran Desert, one of the most diverse ecological environments in North America.
